Released in 1967/68 (Series 1) and 1969/70 (Series 2) these football cards were collected by sending off tokens from the sides of Typhoo Tea packets. The cards are approx 10" x 8" and were produced in full colour on thick card.

Both sets featured player portraits only, this followed on from two earlier series which were issued a few years prior which featured team line ups.

 

Each set of these brilliant football cards consisted of 24 cards and full sets are now very rare, individual cards can be picked up on Ebay for between £3 - £10 depending on condition.
